As long term follow-up to Celebration
'99, a Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Crusade
held in Latrobe, an ecumenical group of clergy and lay leaders
have formed a new association that primarily
will be dedicated to evangelism in the Westmoreland
County Area. This new association is called AWAIC (All Westmoreland
Alive in Christ). It is the intention of AWAIC
to bring Christians of all denominations together
to display a united witness for Christ and to bring all people
to the love of Christ.
AWAIC will focus on strengthening
God's people through evangelism training, Bible Study and personal & corporate prayer. As we reach
people with the Good News we will assist
them in making contact with the church of their choice.
