Spread and Growth of the Association

At the time of the inauguration , members from various parishes used to converges at sacred Heart Parish every Wednesday for four hours Adoration to the Blessed Sacrament . Members raised funds through voluntary donations for erection of a suitable place for perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament within the sacred Heart Church , premises. When we visited the Present Bishop of Enugu Diocese Dr. Anthony O.Gbuji like his predecessor the Bishop Emeritus, he asked us to continue to spread the devotion to more parishes and that he is presently our Spiritual Director. The devotion has since spread within the parishes in Enugu Diocese , Parishes in Akwa Diocese , Onitsha , Nsukka , Port Harcourt , Owerri and even beyond Nigeria to the United States of America and South Africa. In Akwa Diocese the Association has spread to more than 25 Parishes. In Enugu Diocese the devotion is active in 25 Parishes namely : 1. Sacred Heart Parish - Uwani 2. St. Patrick's Parish , Ogbete 3. St. Paul's Parish , Awkunanaw 4. St. Peter's Gariki 5. St. Mary's Parish Uwani 6. St. Jude Amaechi 7. St. Mary's Tranes ­ Ekulu 8. Assumption Parish Nike 9. St. Charles Parish , Amechi -Idodo 10. St. John's Parish , Agbo Ogwugwu 11. St. John 's Agbani 12. St. John 's Mgbowo 13. St. Mary's Achi 14. St. John of God's parish Achi 15. St. Anthony 's Oji - River 16. St. Anthony's Umulumgbe 17. St. Mary's Akama Ogbe 18. Sacred Heart Iwollo Ogbe 19. St. Theresa's Abor 20. St. Peter's Abor 21. St. Mary's Parish Ngwo 22. Immaculate Heart Parish Ogbete 23. Sacred Heart Parish Akpugo 24. Our Lady's of Lourdes, Mary-Land 25. S.S Peter and Paul , Ugbene Meanwhile, many more Parishes will soon have the devotion at the shortest possible time .
