Dear Ron.
Greetings
in the name of the Lord and compliments of the season. I got
to hear about you through Julius who told me about the great
thing you did for their association. I'm from Abakliki dioceses
in Ebonyi state southeast Nigeria and a seminarian presently
at Bigard memorial seminary Enugu. Please, write back telling
me the modalities of making church organizations be on the net.
Thanks and
God bless you.

Emmanuel,
The blessing
of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and all of yours.
It's good
to hear from you. YES - I can help you, and it would be my pleasure
and my blessing.
To get free
pages on the http://www.Lordnet.com web site - all you
need to send me is content. The best way is by email. Send me
a message with the information you want posted.
Look at the pages done for St. Mary's Catholic Youth Organization:
http://www.Lordnet.com/StMaryEnugu/
They wanted
six pages. Send me six emails with the words for each page (best
for me).
The email becomes the content for that page. So if you wanted
a page called ABOUT US,
send me an email with information for the ABOUT US page. Send
me an email for each page
with the words for that page contained in the message. If you
can, send me photo's or a scanned image as an attachment to an
email message. Make sure I know how and where to post that image
or photo.
Photo's and
images are great things to post, as are officers of a group,
activities, and history about the group. You could also send
me word processing files as an attachment (and save yourself
from retyping the information). Make sure you give me contact
names and telephone numbers, and a postal address too.
If you have
a logo or special colors you would want used, let me know. If
you have links on the web that might have some of your information
on them (perhaps a college page or some other church organization),
send me the link.
There is
no cost. You could put me on your prayer list for a while . .
. I will host the pages for your group as long as I'm in the
internet business. God has been good
to me - this is part of my way in paying Him back for His blessing.
You may tell others about the Lordnet.com offer to help them
too.
Send me updates
as needed - make sure that there is always a good contact address
for the group. If you are able to mail something to me - I can
scan it or type it in for you. Let me know if you want to try
this, I'll send you my postal address - or look on the http://www.Lordnet.com site for my address.
Look over
the Lordnet.com site - see how others have presented their information,
and send me your information.
May the Lord
God be kind to you, and hold you in his precious Wounded hands.

From a submitter
in 1997:
NIGERIA !
NOW WE'RE TALKING THE WORLD WIDE WEB !!
. . . when submitting text,
PLEASE do not format or use tabs. Do not set up tables or columns.
Just type sentences until you make a paragraph. Hit return at
least 2 times between paragraphs, even more if you want. For
each page, make sure the major headings are in upper case, then
hit return, then type the paragraph.
When you do any formatting
or laying out, it might look nice to you, even look nice in the
email message. But I spent about 2 hours re-formatting and re-typing
to make HTML code out of what you sent. Just create big long
strings of sentences with upper case major headings. Do not place
line feeds (returns) between sentences unless they are paragraphs,
then hit return at least 2 times. Send the graphics as an attachment
to an email. If all else fails, mail me a floppy disk with the
text and graphics, or papers with the information. I'll get to
it as soon as I can.
If I'm going to make this
Lordnet.com work, I have to get the submission process down pat.
I'm going into great detail here in this message because I'm
going to post this (part of this) message as the protocol for
submission.
Well, let me know, show father,
and send me some more. Let Jim and Lelya know about www.Lordnet.com,
and any others that may wish to submit. And if you run into a
really rich person hit 'em up for a contribution for continued
development here (never mind, I have a plan, I'm working for
credit in Heaven . . . ).
God Bless
